International Mock Trial (Elimination Rounds)

This was the largest virtual international trial advocacy tournament of the year. ModernBrain has now advanced four teams to the top three (semifinals) out of 44 squads from across the world - a tremendous result.

  • 1st Place - Team Gold (Sailee Charlu, Audrey Ma, Ethan Bai, Christiana Garcia)

  • 2nd Place - Team Silver (James Zhou, Anya Luo, Jiachen Qiu, Vivian Mei, Mira Jiang, Angelia Li)

  • 3rd Place - Team Blue (Elizabeth Lu, Logan Pham, Jaden Hong, Grace Li, Olivia Han) 


Dominion Mock Trial (Canadian Championship):

Our teams swept the contest and took 1st, 2nd, 3rd, AND 4th.

  • FINALIST: Team 4 (Jason Kuo, Vivian Mei, Anya Luo, Kayla Hua, Christiana Garcia)

  • FINALIST: Team 2 (Grace Li, Matthew Shen, Jaden Hong, Skylar Chen, Maxwell Liu, Ethan Van)

  • 3rd: Team 1 (Allen Chen, Elizabeth Lu, Arin Pai, Larry Fan, Shawn Zhao, Syler Patel, Joy Long)

  • 4th: Team 3 (Tobin Hill, Lily Kizirian, Krystal Deng, Isabella Lin, Claire Luo, Disha Vaithianadan, Eric Zhu, Aryaan Hussein) 

We also won EVERY witness and attorney award:

Tournament of Champions Qualifying Contests:

Some of our students attended highly competitive, multi-state speech contests. They returned with qualifying 'bids' (invitations to join) the Tournament of Champions.
